Blogger Yard Sale Part 2

I attended the event on last Friday with Kak Vegha , Kak Atha, Kak Ayaz, Nienda and Vira. I met all the bloggers but the most favorite fashion blogger of moi is June Paski ^-^ . That was my first time to met her, when i approached her, she was very welcome person and we immediately talk about many things. ahh nice to meet you :D

Now, i'm gonna answer from http://tiananana.blogspot.com/ about how to make Tulle Skirt on my previous post and this is my first tutorial. Let's follow this step ,it's very easy no need to sew it. all you need just scissors, tulle fabric and ribbon.

1. i use the one meter of tulle fabric, make some holes using your scissors
2 and 3 take the ribbon and enlaced it into that holes . this ribbon will be used as belt
4. tadddaaaaaa

it is a tulle skirt but it also can be used like these :D

(to cover my chest or it can be a new scarf .yaiyy ^-^)

Buat temen-temen yang ga sempet dateng ke acara Pesta Blogger + 2010 #pb2010, jadi disana acaranya di bagi 3 sesi besar, pertama semacam pembukaan ,breakout session yang dibagi beberapa kelas lalu penutupan. Naah, kebetulan aku kebagian di kelas Acer ini.


Di kelas Acer – Happy In Expressing Yourself by Ollie (@salsabeela) membicarakan tentang Women and Technology. Perempuan yang berprofesi juga sebagai penulis ini menceritakan kehidupannya kepada sekitar 40-50 yang datang di kelas Pulau Penyengat pada saat itu. Ollie mencotohkan bagaimana Oprah menginspiirasi hidupnya dengan memiliki acara televisi yang mana menggunakan teknologi untuk membuat orang lain bahagia.


Dia pun melihat dirinya dekat dengan teknologi yaitu Internet maka pada tahun 2006, dia memulai dengan ngobrol-ngobrol bersama partner kerjanya Angel (@b4nch4) yang sama-sama hobby membaca, mereka memikirkan untuk membuat toko buku tapi dengan cara mereka sendiri maka pada bulan Februari 2007 Kutukutubuku.com pun lahir, disini Ollie mengatakan bahwa “i’m so #happy to follow my passion” .


Saat itu mulai banyak media yang tertarik dengan cewe yang berurusan langsung dengan teknologi, karena Ollie membuat web sendiri dan design pun oleh partnernya. Akhirnya meruka memutuskan untuk keluar dari kantor dan setelah resign makin banyak punya waktu untuk mengerjakan tulisan lebih banyak, karena passion Ollie di menulis dan buku.


Lanjut ke usaha Nulisbuku.com karena biasanya orang membuat buku banyak yg tidak diterima, maka dibuatlah website yang cinta buku dan langsung bisa di publish,dari semua usaha yang dikerjakan Ollie maka menghasilkan #happiness because she follow her passion dan karena dapat mengikuti passion, “i can balance in travelling” kata Ollie.


Dan Ollie pun menceritakan ketika dia dapat menyeimbangkan “me time” nya. Saat ia sedang suntuk dengan Jakarta, ia pernah pergi ke Ubud, Bali mengikuti jejak Elizabeth Gilbert dalam buku Eat Pray Love. Ollie berkesempatan bertemu dengan Ketut Liyer, dan dari situlah Ollie mendapat banyak filosofi dari ketut liyer. Ollie juga menceritakan when she can find balance while cooking. She is a good wife.


Ollie pun berbagi cerita bagaimana dia sekarang memiliki banyak waktu untuk sharing because she happy to share, share knowlage via acerID.com dan dia ngeblog dari 2003 sampe sekarang, Ollie juga menulis disalah satu channel di acerID.com dia mengisi tentang women dan technolgy .


Dia juga menyukai sharing experience with women, pernah sharing dengan rumah dunia, moz5 salon, sharing in wider forum. Ollie pun bercerita bagaimana caranya berteman dengan dunia , basic nya friendship, lewat social media, dengan basic friendship kita ga akan gampang marah-marah ke suatu keadaan Negara tertentu karena kita ingat dinegara itu ada teman kita. Ollie juga suka sharing via community dengan #StartupLokal


Bret Terril (pembuat farmville di facebook) katanya cara kita menulis bisa diaplikasikan untuk kehidupan. Maka Ollie pun menemukan formula :

outline – Harus ditentukan awal sampai akhir cerita.

schedule - target , ada tenggang waktunya, harus commitment dalam 1 hari menulis sehari sekian dan sekian.

finish - saat sudah 30 hari, misalnya, selesailah, wrap it-bungkus, harus dikeluarkan.


Ollie juga menyarankan untuk find inspirations from google, acerid, dailysocial.net, teknojurnal, youtube, ted.com, slideshare.net, scribd.com, 43things.com .Join community seperti tangandiatas.com - startuplokal.org – freshyourmind. Dan follow positive twits, @salsabeela @acerID @Pandji @FiraBasuki @MrsHananto @IIMFahima.


Begitulah keramaian kelas Acer – Happy In Expressing Yourself by Ollie (@salsabeela) walaupun kelas untuk membicarakan tentang women dan teknologi, tapi banyak juga pria yang datang, kebanyakan tertarik karena pembicara adalah Ollie adalah penulis, dan yang hadir pun ada @BenaKribo dan @Pandji. Dan kehadiran woozpot pun menambah banyaknya peserta yang datang dan ingin Check-in menggunakan wooz.in(aplikasi untuk check-in ditempat2 favorite menggunakan alat RFID)

Pesta Blogger + 2010

This is my first time to attend a Pesta Blogger + 2010 at Epicentrum Walk, i'm not only a participant but also one of the volunteers. Me , aong, rangga, willy, juki and tanto and my officemates are volunteers who joined this event because of our lecture Mr.Akbar . We felt so lucky because many of volunteer applicants are rejected. Too many story i can tell to you guys, but the most interesting one is i met maybe around 12 girls from London School PR, one of them i remember her name is Livia asked me to take a picture with her, i was shocked at the moment , i thought i'm asked to be her photographer to take her picture with her friends. i'm wrong. i feel extremely happy , here they are :D . .

there are Pricyll , Vania and many more, they are lovely girls. hope we can arrange a plan to meet again :D

these photo are me and some committe and volunteers, they are blogger too and really nice people,
Kak Shinta, kak Rara, Aca, Mba Nena, Nuh etc etc . i love how the main committe colaborate with volunteers. And i like #pb2010 concept, to make breakout session with super inspiring classes, the participants may choose the classes they want.
Rangga is the luckiest man in this event because he got Nokia X5 just because answered the question from #startup lokal class, actually in this event not only Nokia, but also Netbook Acer, Acer Liquid E, IPhone 4 and Ipad as a gifts.

well okay, enough, my english become worst :))
ps : i'm feel comfortable when wearing this Jade Buckle Wedges by June Pasky from June + Julia ALL DAY LONG ! really :D
